The George Brown College Huskies put a bow on the 2023-24 season on April 5, hosting the 54th Annual Athletic Awards at the Glenn Gloud Studio.
The students participated in the event with the Housing, Infrastructure & Communities Minister Sean Fraser and Ministers Marci Ien and Arif Virani.
Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician program student Justin Pham brought home a gold medal from the annual CMPX heating gauntlet competition.
A George Brown College delegation visited the University of Guyana in March to explore partnership opportunities and President Dr. Gervan Fearon delivered a keynote address.
George Brown College will join individuals and organizations worldwide in switching off the lights at 8:30 p.m. for Earth Hour. All non-essential lighting will be turned off at our three campuses.
The Huskies made their presence known on the biggest stage in college athletics this month — bringing home two national medals for George Brown College.
On March 8, 2024, we celebrate International Women's Day, to honour women's achievements and advocate for inclusion, equity, and the advancement of gender equality.
The theme of the 2024 event, "International Student Mental Health and Well-Being: A Collective Responsibility," addressed challenges facing international students in Canada, including food and housing insecurity, language and financial barriers, academic expectations and social integration.
