GBC Eats is committed to providing quality, healthy, and affordable meals to the George Brown College community. Whether you’re looking for a quick coffee and snack before heading into class or looking for a healthy lunch option, we’ve got you covered at each campus!

GBC Eats is the college’s official caterer and operates popular food outlets like Tim Hortons, Bento Sushi, Pizza Pizza, and daily chef features at the St. James, Casa Loma, and Waterfront campuses. 

We also offer full-service vending at all campuses. Beverage and snack vending machines are located throughout our campuses and accept credit and debit tap payments.

GBC Eats is the official caterer at George Brown College. From buffet-style service to formal dining, the culinary team at GBC Eats is ready to help make your event memorable. Visit the GBC Eats catering website to browse our menu, submit your order, or contact a member of our team.  

College Business Services & Procurement (CBS&P) recognizes that some events may have unique catering requirements. If you would like to discuss having an external caterer support your event, please contact gbceats@georgebrown.ca.  

Food Advisory Committee

College Business Services & Procurement (CBS&P) is committed to offering a food service program that meets the needs of the George Brown community. The Food Advisory Committee works with college departments, including the Office of the President, Student Success, the Student Association, and external partners to ensure that George Brown’s food service program remains accessible, healthy, affordable, and innovative.

GBC Eats offers a Ten Under Ten menu, which features ten daily menu items that are available for under $10. Check the GBC Eats website for more information or ask a GBC Eats team member the next time you visit! 

Students can purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at affordable prices at the weekly Good Food Market, Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at St. James Campus, 200 King St. E. next to the Campus Store.

Run by the Student Association (SA) of George Brown College, students can register for the Student Nutrition Access Program, or SNAP, at Casa Loma Campus at the SA office, E building, room 127. Visit studentassociation.ca/services/snap for details. 

Coffee on campus

Campus catering uses Birch Bark Coffee as its preferred coffee. Birch Bark Coffee is a First Nations-owned and operated business that farms 100% organic Fair Trade Arabica coffee. Birch Bark reinvests proceeds to fund long-term, sustainable initiatives that provide essential resources to Indigenous communities across Canada.

GBC Eats membership plans

GBC Eats membership plans are available for students, staff and faculty for ways to save with on-campus dining. Plans are accepted at all GBC Eats food court restaurants at each campus.
