Student and Visitor Health, Safety or Wellness Concerns
Students and visitors should report health safety and wellness concerns, security issues, suspicious or criminal activity to Public Safety & Emergency Management as soon as possible. For severe life-threatening emergencies call 9-1-1 and then contact Security.
Students should also notify their faculty.
Student and Visitor Injury Reporting
If a student or visitor to the college is injured, the following procedure must be followed:
- Class Student Injury: Injured students are given a Supervisor's Accident Investigation Report (SAIR) Form to complete from a first-person perspective and must return it to the First Aid Centre.
- Out-of-Class Student Injury: Students receiving first aid must complete the SAIR form and return it to the First Aid Centre.
- Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Placement Student Injury: Students injured during a work-integrated learning placement must report the incident to their placement supervisor.
- Visitor Injury (including contractors): Visitors to the college who receive first aid follow the same process, complete the SAIR form and return it to the First Aid Centre.
