Apprentices are registered by the regional office of the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) Workplace Training Branch. You or your future employer can call the regional MLITSD office and ask an Employment and Training Consultant to visit your workplace. The consultant will make sure that you both understand what apprenticeship is all about.
Before Applying:
Please note you must be registered with the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development as an apprentice and have received an Offer of Training in the mail from them before applying to register in an apprenticeship in-school training program at George Brown College You must attach a copy of your Offer of Classroom Training with the Apprenticeship Application for Admission form below. In-school Training Seats are available on a first paid first serve basis, with a wait list for those who try to register after the class is full.

Program Withdrawal:
- To withdraw with refund from an apprenticeship program, you must officially withdraw before the 10th business day of the first scheduled class. Please note: a withdrawal charge of $100 applies.
- Withdrawals thereafter the 10th business day of classes will be considered without academic penalty, you must withdraw before 60% of the program has been completed.
- To officially withdraw, you must email your request to withdraw to apprenticereg@georgebrown.ca. Include your name, class name and class number. Alternatively, you can withdraw in person at any Student Service Centre.
