George Brown College's Advanced Studies in Inclusive Early Childhood is a post-diploma, one-semester training program that strengthen your capacity to respond to children with special needs. This program is designed for Early Childhood Educators, teachers and supervisors.

This program is eligible for two scholarships:  A degree entrance scholarship and a second $1,200 entrance scholarship. Visit our entrance scholarship page for details.George Brown's Bachelor of Early Childhood Education – Honours (Degree Completion) program will take your education and career to the next level in just two years. Apply to this program if you have an early childhood education diploma and want to develop the skills you need to work as a leader in the sector. This program is available as a part-time study option.

George Brown College's Child Development Practitioner (CDP) program is designed for those already working in the field of Early Childhood who wish to pursue formal studies and receive certification as a Career Development Practitioner. As a CDP apprentice, you will be required to take 23 modules of in-school training on a part-time basis in the evenings. This training is currently being offered in a hybrid format - both in-person and online.

George Brown College’s part-time Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma program will prepare you to work as a trained early childhood professional. In this part-time program, you will study in the evenings taking one to three courses per semester. Upon completion of this program, you will be eligible for entrance to Ontario’s College of Early Childhood Educators. This is a requirement for anyone wanting to work as an Early Childhood Educator in the province of Ontario.

This fast-track stream will prepare you for a rewarding career working with children from six weeks to 12 years of age in a variety of early childhood education settings.

In this 16-month online program stream, you will learn to work with children from six weeks to 12 years of age in a variety of early childhood education settings. Students will complete four in-person field placements.

This condensed, 16-month version of our two-year diploma program will teach you to work with children from six weeks to 12 years of age in a variety of early childhood education settings.

George Brown College's Early Childhood (EC) Management Certificate (Post-Diploma) is a one-semester program designed to prepare supervisors and directors for their roles and responsibilities in childcare programs, family childcare, preschools, nursery schools, family drop-in centres, family literacy programs and early intervention services. This program will also prepare you for management and leadership in the integrated early childhood system that is emerging in Ontario.
