Game Art program project

Video games are becoming one of the leading forms of artistic expression in the 21st century. Game development requires a combination of talents, hard work and passion.

Computer programmers and Digital Designers are the fundamental backbone for companies that develop, produce, distribute and market computer-based games. We have developed several different programs to help meet the industry demand for skilled workers in the gaming industry.

Students will have the unique opportunity to learn how to develop commercial-quality games in a simulated video game studio environment, at times developed with industry partners and game programmers.

In the Greater Toronto Area, developers and publishers of games range in size from small specialized units to a group of mid-sized companies, to Microsoft, Nintendo and other industry leaders. In fact, our industry advisors tell us that it is the technical skills that are most in demand, a demand these programs are focused on filling.

In addition to Game related programs, George Brown College offers many other design and Media programs.
