Resources for Faculty
Career Services supports the Academic Centres through workshops, events, an online job board and resource materials. In addition, each Academic Centre has a designated Career Advisor who will facilitate program-specific content and help develop a career-related curriculum. Question? Contact us.
Collaborate with your Program's Career Advisor
Faculty are welcome to consult with their assigned Career Advisor for recommendations on career-related support resources or tools to support their classroom instruction.
Request a Workshop
Faculty members are welcome to book a Career Advisor to deliver program-targeted workshops on a variety of career development. All available offerings are listed below and to request a workshop, please fill out our Workshop Request Form:
*Due to current operational and staffing levels within Career Services, all workshops will be delivered mostly virtually. We apologize for the inconvenience. (Nov. 15, 2022)
Guidelines for Faculty
- The Career Services team may not be able to support all in-class requests; please check our Career Services workshops & events for in-centre workshops to support your students and curriculum throughout the academic year. You can also reach out to your program area Career Advisor for more information on our in-centre workshop programming.
- To ensure all GBC students have access to our book with our Career Advisors for one-on-one support in a timely manner, faculty should refrain from requesting their students to book one-on-one appointments for course assignments or projects. Our team is dedicated to being available to all students across the College, so this process allows for students who are personally seeking timely career support to be able to access it.

Afterwards, students can use the platform and record their responses. After recording, students can send recordings to faculty or anyone else (even those without an account - such as an industry partner) to review and provide feedback.
