Celebrating educational excellence and professional achievement, the Home Court Heroes event on October 21 illuminated the powerful partnership between George Brown College (GBC) and Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE)

On October 10, 2024, leading Canadian chefs transformed the Waterfront Campus into a nexus of gastronomic innovation for social change at the George Brown College (GBC) Foundation’s 11th Annual Food Court Social.

Thanks to his incredible commitment, drive, and George Brown College dance training, David Giller combines his love for dance and passion for travel in an exciting career lighting up stages in Toronto and worldwide.

Canada’s largest professional association of graphic designers (RGD) has given George Brown College’s School of Design top marks, naming it the number one design school in the country based on students’ work.

Awards were presented and guests got a look at the unique pieces created by the 21 graduating students.

These two-year programs provide a great blend of theoretical learning and practical, real-world experience, so graduates are ready to succeed in today’s workforce. Apply now for September!

On Saturday, April 6, students from George Brown College’s (GBC’s) School of Fashion and Jewellery participated in the Dressed to Kilt fashion show at Toronto’s Liberty Grand. Four GBC students were finalists in the runway event, and showcased their creations made from Strathmore Woollen Company tartan fabric.

In the heart of Toronto, within the lively performance spaces of George Brown College's School of Media & Performing Arts, Evan Alexander Smith's journey as a rising star began.

The GBC Theatre School grad's career took off early in the pandemic and continues to grow with new opportunities in the U.S., thanks to her work on the show "Slip," a streaming series from celebrity executive producer Dakota Johnson.

Kuadey began to find success with her ISRAELLA KOBLA women's clothing brand soon after she graduated from the Fashion Techniques and Design program in 2019. Five years later, she's reached an incredible professional milestone.
