Students will learn how to perform advanced restorative procedures and preventive measures. Those interested in advancing their skill set and expanding their scope of clinical practice should consider this program. 

Eligible for Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP): YesCIP code: 42.2814The Autism and Behavioural Science (Postgraduate) program focuses on autism spectrum disorders and therapies, mainly applied behaviour analysis (ABA), with a primary application for children and adolescents. You will gain practical experience working with treatment teams.

Clinical Methods in Orthotics/Prosthetics (Postgraduate) is a joint program with Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and other facilities that teaches you how to assess and fit patients with artificial limbs, braces and splints. This program is unique in Ontario.

The Interprofessional Complex and Long-Term Care program is a two-semester graduate certificate that prepares graduates to lead, manage or co-ordinate a team of interprofessional health-care providers in complex and long-term care environments. This program is delivered online.

The Registered Nurse – Critical Care Nursing program is a one-semester graduate certificate program that prepares registered nurses to provide safe, competent care to critically ill individuals and their families. 

Registered Nurse – Operating Room Perioperative Nursing (Postgraduate) is a graduate certificate program for registered nurses. In one semester, students will learn the skills required to work as an operating room nurse. This program includes both a theory and clinical practice component. 

The one-semester Registered Nurse – Perinatal Intensive Care Nursing (Postgraduate) (S404) program trains registered nurses to provide care for critically ill newborns and their families in an intensive care setting. 

The Registered Practical Nursing – Perioperative (Postgraduate) program prepares RPNs with the foundational theoretical and technical skills needed to work within their scope of practice in a perioperative setting. This program includes a theory and clinical practicum component.

The R.P.N. Bridge to B.Sc.N. two-semester bridging program provides registered practical nurses (RPNs) with the knowledge and skills necessary to enter Trent University's B.Sc.N. degree program offered on-site at George Brown.
