George Brown College’s part-time Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma program will prepare you to work as a trained early childhood professional. In this part-time program, you will study in the evenings taking one to three courses per semester. Upon completion of this program, you will be eligible for entrance to Ontario’s College of Early Childhood Educators. This is a requirement for anyone wanting to work as an Early Childhood Educator in the province of Ontario.

The Assaulted Women's and Children's Counsellor/Advocate (AWCCA) (Accelerated) program will prepare you to provide anti-oppressive counselling and advocacy for survivors of gender-based violence.Apply to this accelerated program stream if you have an existing diploma or degree and work/volunteer experience in feminist organizations and programs and are interested in accelerating your career as a counsellor/advocate for survivors of gender-based violence.If you apply to the 2024/25 intake for this program, you will begin your studies in May 2025. To start this program in May 2024, apply to the 2023/24 intake.

The Community Worker program prepares students to work for progressive social change with organizations, communities and individuals across a range of issues such as poverty, housing, legal rights, discrimination, food justice, immigration and refugee settlement.

The Community Worker (Accelerated) program prepares students to work for progressive social change with organizations, communities and individuals across a range of issues such as poverty, housing, legal rights, discrimination, food justice, immigration and refugee settlement.This accelerated program stream is designed for college and university graduates and is a condensed version of the two-year Community Worker (C101) program. 

Eligible for Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP): YesCIP code: 44The Social Service Worker diploma program combines in-class learning with field experience to teach theoretical models, approaches to practice, group facilitation, mental health supports, social innovation, and anti-oppressive practice.This is an approved education program by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). 

The Social Service Worker (Accelerated) program will provide you with the opportunity to learn theoretical models, group facilitation, mental health support, values, ethics and professional practice, and anti-oppressive practice.Apply to this accelerated program if you have a diploma or degree related to the field of social or community work.
