English as a Second Language (R901) – Apply to this part-time certificate to improve your personal, professional and academic English language skills

English for Professional Success (R902) – Apply to this program if you have advanced English skills and want to develop your professional communication skills.

Continuing Education ESL Pathway to George Brown College Certificates and Diplomas (R903) – Apply tot his program if you need to meet the English Language admission requirements for George Brown Certificate, Diploma or Postgraduate Certificate programs (without co-op).

GBC's Research & Innovation PDx lab brought an entrepreneur's vision of a tangle-free holiday lighting system to life.

Elder Shirt was honoured by the province for her over 50 years as a champion and pioneer of Indigenous education, a community activist and a Knowledge and Wisdom Keeper.

Ontario's Long-Term Care Minister Stan Cho announced up to $25,400 in incentives available to PSW students and recent grads.

"It is important to remember that the actions we take and words we use exemplify the values of our college. It is for this reason that I affirm that George Brown College continues to stand against all forms of hate, violence, antisemitism, Islamophobia and racism," GBC President Dr. Gervan Fearon said.

The competitions were part of a collaboration between GBC and the Consulate General of India in Toronto and celebrated two sustainable Indian exports, khadi fabrics and millet.

The response to GBC’s potential presence in Mount Dennis has been positive, with the community expressing enthusiasm and readiness to engage in the educational growth of the area.

The Disruptive, Innovative and Emerging Technologies in the Nuclear Industry (DIET23) conference was held at Waterfront Campus on November 6. The event focuses on how companies, academics, and governments are using innovative technologies and methodologies in nuclear energy, medicine, regulation and more.

A CBC Radio One documentary called Say Yes highlights how Erfan works with two other people to help refugees start new lives in Canada.
