This Valentine's Day, we're highlighting an alumnus chocolatier and two alumni couples. They started at GBC and have gone on to do great things. These grads are doing what they love with people who love it, too. 💘 💘 💘

GBC is hosting two meet-and-greet sessions this month—on February 6 and 20. Residents are invited to come out to learn about the free programs we offer, and we’ll outline other ways the college can help community members get closer to their educational goals.

The event, Land Acknowledgments from the Black Perspective with artist d'bi young, kicks off our in-person Black Futures Month activities on Monday, February 5.

The FOR TOMORROW hoodie collection was designed by Kai Palo, a fashion student at GBC. Exemplifying circular design and sustainability principles, the hoodie is available in four colours and six sizes. It features a secure stash pocket, a spacious hood for maximum comfort and an oversized fit.

More than 100 students received food hampers distributed by the Student Nutrition Access Program, or SNAP, run by the Student Association of George Brown College.

Chancellor Milne was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada, recognized for her "volunteer leadership and commitment to community service, particularly to initiatives supporting education, women and youth."
