Biography
Jessica is a dedicated and passionate ESL/EAP educator with over 25 years of teaching experience in the field of adult education. Over the course of her career, she taught LINC, ESL and EAP in various higher educational institutions in Toronto before coming to George Brown College in 2019 as a full-time faculty member and Academic Coordinator. Jessica received a concurrent B.A/B.Ed. and an Additional Qualification in E.S.L from Queens University. She completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Classical Theatre at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in England and received an M.Ed. in Digital Technology from Ontario Tech University (formerly UOIT) in 2017. She is OCT, TESL Ontario and TESL Canada certified. Some of her interests include authentic assessment, the use of digital technology and resources, curriculum development, and peer mentorship.
