Student Clubs at GBC

Clubs at GBC are a great way to bring back face-to-face contact in areas of cultural interest, personal interests, and social movements. This is your chance to interact with a wide variety of people, expand your skillset, or find a new interest. Student clubs promote campus life and are inclusive and open to all. Join a club today.

Creating a club is as easy as 1, 2, 3:

  1. Find a common interest or belief that you share with other students
  2. Fill out the clubs application
  3. Submit your completed clubs application to clubs@sagbc.ca

The Analytics Club is a great opportunity to get relevant experience and build your skills in Business and Analytics. Canadian Nursing Student Association

CNSA is a communication link among nursing students across Canada. CNSA advocates on behalf of the nursing students at George Brown College. They conduct a series of workshops, speaking engagements, and activations on campus.

Computer Science Club

Computer Science Club to foster a collaborative and supportive environment for students interested in computer science and related fields. The club will host workshops, hackathons, guest lectures, coding challenges, and group projects, promoting continuous learning, peer support, and professional development in various areas of computer science, including software development, data science, and artificial intelligence.

GBC Supply Chain Club

From the professional and academic perspective, the club’s mandate aims to provide SCM students experiences they cannot get inside the classroom, thus being a resource of networking and opportunities, both for students and interested parties, in choosing Supply Chain as a career path. Namely, the club is the bridge between academic study and practical experience through networking, guest speaker series, panel discussions, plant visits, workshops, and many other relevant events.

George Brown Marketing Association

To provide a forum for George Brown marketing students to meet fellow students with an interest in marketing, to participate in professional development opportunities within the college and the marketing industry, and apply their marketing skills promoting the association’s events. Examples of work that will support the association’s purpose include preparing and updating the association’s marketing plan, recruiting members, implementing marketing events, and conducting post analyses.

The GBC Prosthetics and Orthotics Club serves as a vital gathering point for students in this specialized field, fostering a close-knit community essential for academic and professional growth. Through social gatherings like bowling nights and the encouragement of study groups, the club provides opportunities for students to connect and excel academically. Additionally, a mentorship program fosters support and a sense of belonging within the department, while the organization of travel to Canadian P&O events and attendance at seminars and webinars enriches learning experiences and facilitates professional networking.

GBC Drawing Club

GBC Drawing Club is an academic club where students from all campuses can express their creativity and skills in fine arts, regardless of their program or campus. Historically, this club welcomes students by conducting life drawing sessions with a live subject or providing feedback on student artwork, to help improve drawing skills. Now students will incorporate these skills independently through weekly art challenges where they will draw according to the theme. The goal of the club is the find more creative individual across all of the campus.

We aim to organize live viewings of races and qualifiers, conduct simulation races, and participate in or host F1-related competitions and events.
