George Brown College has received permission from the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) to amend the official nomenclature of our degrees to include Honours in the degree title.
The MLITSD had decided that the new degree title is better aligned with other degree titles in their respective fields and is a more accurate reflection of the nature of the program of study.
Who is eligible?
- Students who graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hospitality) after September 5, 2014, are now eligible for the following nomenclature: Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (Hospitality).
- Students who graduated with a Bachelors of Commerce (Financial Services) after February 12, 2015, are now eligible for the following nomenclature: Honours Bachelors of Commerce (Financial Services)
- Students who graduated with a Bachelor of Technology (Construction Management) after January 14, 2013, are now eligible for the following nomenclature: Honours Bachelor of Technology (Construction Management).
- Students who graduated with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Leadership after May 12, 2010, are now eligible for the following nomenclature: Honours Bachelor of Early Childhood Leadership.
How can you receive a new credential?
To receive a new credential you must return your degree, in person to any of our Student Services areas, or by mail to the following address with the completed Credential Request form:
