High Quality Child Care
If you are a family living in Toronto, you know how important it is to have access to high quality child care. As part of our early education career training, George Brown operates 13 innovative child care centres in a variety of facilities across Toronto.
Staffed by fully trained early childhood educators, the child care centres play an important role as lab schools, helping students develop their skills, and as crucial sources of high quality daycare for you and your child.

General Information
All our child care centres are open Monday to Friday, 12 months a year, with the following exceptions:
- New Year's Day
- Family Day
- Good Friday
- Canada Day
- Civic Holiday
- Labour Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- The week between Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
- Centres also close on Easter Monday and the Friday before the Labour Day weekend – these two days are Professional Development Days for the staff in all the George Brown Lab Schools
Current Fees
Fees vary depending on location. Check your location of choice for current fees.
PLEASE NOTE: There are a limited number of part-time spaces available. Please contact the centres for current availability.
Subsidies
If you require subsidized child care, contact Metro Community Service Intake Offices at 416-392-5437. It may take up to six months or more for approval. Apply as early as possible.
