Preparatory Biology for Degree Programs I and II
This course provides prepares students for degree level studies, particularly in health science disciplines. Students will undertake an in-depth study of the concepts and processes that occur in biological systems. Students will be introduced to chemistry concepts necessary for biological studies and will study theory and conduct investigations in the areas of biochemistry, metabolic processes, homeostasis and molecular genetics. Emphasis will be placed on the achievement of detailed knowledge and the refinement of skills needed for further study in various branches of the life sciences and related fields.
This registration is for Degree Preparation - Biology. Please check your communications from the Admissions Office to confirm which course you need to take.
