Biography

Robert Ruggieri is a Program Coordinator and Professor in the Business Administration- Supply Chain Program.  Over his eleven years at GBC, he has developed and taught many of GBC’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) courses for both Undergraduate and Post-Graduate Students.  After completely revising/launching the Diploma program in 2021, he co-developed the 4-Year Degree in Supply Chain Management in 2023.  Currently, along with developing new curriculum, He is the creator and the faculty advisor for the GBC Supply Chain Club, a student run ASCM Chapter, focused on external networking opportunities for students. Since 2022, he has organized the annual Supply Chain Symposium and Case Competitions hosted by GBC. As a dual-professional, Robert founded and operates “The King Street Group,” a boutique advisory firm consulting/advising to Small-Medium Enterprises, along with focus on new home real estate investment and project management.  

Robert’s experience and education have allowed him to become a specialist in the field of operational excellence. For much of his career, he has focused on value creation through sustainable strategies and operational excellence, with emphasis on mixed global and domestic strategies.  His 20+ years of progressive private/public sector experience provides him with significant expertise in High tech, Automotive, Aerospace, and Cleantech, which is leveraged to enhance his students’ classroom experiences.
