Biography
Mohammad Nurul Mazumde is a talented academician with 12 years of experience in teaching microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics, international business, business mathematics, and finance courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in internationally recognized institutions, including Laval University, Multimedia University, and George Brown College. He possesses five years of industry experience in business development and consulting with industry practitioners, such as Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation Sdn. Bhd. He has been serving at George Brown College since May, 2016. His learner-centered approach of teaching is highly appraised by students and his colleagues.
Mohammad's research areas include tourism economics, economic impact analysis, and microfinance. He has produced several research articles in international peer reviewed journals as he believes that there is no rigid dividing line between teaching and research. His successful experience in teaching and research has led him to develop intuitive and coherent teaching methods that help students in understanding the subject matter and also allow him to effectively teach the subjects of his interests.
