Biography
Mittu Gupta has eight years of experience as Professor with School of Fashion & Jewellery, George Brown College teaching courses in for textiles and provides a learner centered environment in her classes. She has worked as Assistant Professor of Textiles and Clothing for 10 years with Department of Textiles and Apparel Design, SNDT Women’s University at Mumbai, India. She is very passionate about teaching and has developed innovative teaching methods and incorporated “best practices” in teaching core textiles and clothing. She loves to incorporate technology in creating an effective, compelling and engaging learning environment in her classroom. She has published papers in journals and apparel trade magazines and presented papers at national and international platforms. She has four years of experience in retail sector having managed Men retail store as a Store Manager and has also worked as Production Coordinator for three years in garment production unit. She was also associated with diverse school community as Vice Principal of a High School.
