Biography
Amir Lopci has been a full time member of the faculty in the Angelo DelZotto School of Construction Management at George Brown College (GBC) since 2015. Currently teaches estimating courses in Construction Estimating Technology Diploma Program (T105), Civil Engineering Technology Program (164) and Post-Graduate Certificate Program, Drywall Systems Estimating (T409). Prior to entering the academic field on a full-time basis, he taught as part time faculty at Aangelo DelZotto School of Construction Management and CONED and held senior positions in management and estimating at various construction projects in Canada and internationally. Professor Lopci is a highly-regarded construction management professional and an expert in the estimating field. As an active construction consultant and professor, he had close ties within the industry to maintain currency and relevance of the programs.
Professor Lopci is engaged in applied research at George Brown College.
