Unwind, express, and heal through the power of words. Join us for a session where creativity meets self-care, exploring writing as a tool for reflection, growth, and wellness. Come ready to write, share, and connect!
The workshop will be led by Jouve Evans, part of the teaching staff for the Postgraduate Screenwriting and Narrative Design Media Program at GBC. Jouve teaches the Character and Storytelling class and brings valuable experience as a writer, workshop coordinator, and story editor for films, books, and television.
Naiima Farah, a GBC counsellor with Counselling and Student Well-being Services, will also guide the wellness portion of the workshop, offering insights and strategies to support mental well-being.
This is a wonderful opportunity to nurture your creative side while prioritizing your mental health. All are welcome!
We hope to see you there!
Note: This event is exclusively for Black/African/African Canadian/Caribbean-identifying students.
