Constance (Connie) Wansbrough

Biography

Connie is an entrepreneur, adult learning specialist and the co-founder of Skillpod, Inc. She is a soft skills trainer, facilitator and professional development coach. For 10 years, she taught in the School of Design, specializing in design thinking, design research and workplace preparedness. Connie was also part of a 3-person core team that designed and developed the curriculum for a 4-year Branding degree offered by the School of Design.

In 2018, she cofounded Skillpod, Inc., a soft skills training program helping young professionals thrive in work and life in the digital age. She developed learning manipulatives, learning products, a learning assessment app and co-wrote the workbook, “Be There. With 7 Skills for Working (and Living) in the Digital Age. In the same year she began offering this training to first year Fashion Management students as a Student Success course. In this course, students build time management skills, productivity skills, and self-management skills. As well they develop creative and strategic problem-solving skills by solving group-based challenges and in class activities in the context of the fashion industry.
