Financial Assistance & OSAP

In order for a student to receive their OSAP funding, the student must upload all required documentation to their OSAP account, and the documents must be reviewed and approved by the Financial Aid Office.

Students must ensure they are registered for their classes and have a full-time schedule in order for the Financial Aid Office to confirm their enrollment. The Confirmation of Enrolment will be processed electronically by the Financial Aid Office. The estimated release date may continually change until the enrollment is confirmed.

Once confirmed, it takes 5-10 business days for the funding to be released.  If the funding is not available after 10 business days, please contact the National Student Loan Service Centre (NSLSC) at 1-888-815-4514.

Note: Funding for two or three-semester programs will be released in two installments.

  • First installment, approximately 60% of the total, will be released at the beginning of first semester.
  • Second installment, the remaining 40%, will be released at the beginning of second semester.
  • For a one-semester program, the funding will be released in one installment (at the beginning of first semester).
