George Brown’s Pauline Shirt was recently featured on Global TV. Shirt, Knowledge and Wisdom Keeper with Indigenous Education and Services, spoke about her own experiences with Residential Schools, watching her children struggle in the Toronto public education system, and eventually founding a school where, “Indigenous language, history and culture are shared through an Indigenous lens.”
