About Xavier

As the owner of X-Posed Contracting, my journey to entrepreneurship has been shaped by years of hands-on experience, hard work, and a vision for building a business grounded in trust and quality craftsmanship. I started with a strong passion for creating and working with my hands, which led me into the trades.

Over the years, I gained a range of skills, working in various aspects of construction and home improvement. I was driven not only by the desire to hone my craft but also by a deep commitment to providing clients with reliable, quality service that would exceed their expectations. Eventually, I realized I wanted to take my passion to the next level by creating a company that reflected my standards and values.

Founding X-Posed Contracting allowed me to put my expertise to work in a way that prioritized transparency, craftsmanship, and customer relationships. Today, I’m proud to lead a company that strives to deliver outstanding results while building trust with every project. My journey has been fueled by a dedication to growth, a strong work ethic, and the goal of making a positive impact on my clients and community.

Founded in 2016, X-posed Contracting has proudly served the Greater Toronto Area with a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship, exceptional service, and innovative solutions for both residential and commercial projects. What began as a vision to elevate the standards of construction and renovation has evolved into a full-service contracting company known for precision, reliability, and a client-centered approach.

What made you want to become an entrepreneur?

I was drawn to entrepreneurship because I wanted the freedom to create a business that truly reflected my values, vision, and dedication to quality. Working for others, I often felt that the potential to provide a top-tier experience was limited by factors outside my control. I wanted to build a company where integrity, transparency, and craftsmanship came first, where I could set the standard and make a direct impact on every project.

Why did you create your business?

I created a business so I could leave something valuable for my kids and my family.

What successes have you enjoyed so far with building your company?

So far, building X-Posed Contracting has brought several successes that I’m incredibly proud of. First, we’ve earned a strong reputation in our community for delivering high-quality work that people can rely on, whether it’s a deck, fence, or other project. Positive word-of-mouth and referrals have been key to our growth, and there’s nothing more rewarding than clients who recommend us to their friends and family because they trust our work.

Another success has been assembling a team that shares my commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. I’m grateful to work alongside skilled professionals who are just as dedicated to upholding the standards we set. We’ve also been able to take on increasingly ambitious projects, challenging ourselves to push our creativity and expertise to new levels, which has been exciting.

Financially, X-Posed Contracting has reached a point of stability and consistent growth, allowing us to reinvest in better equipment, training, and resources. This growth shows that our focus on craftsmanship and client relationships is paying off. Ultimately, our greatest success has been in creating a brand that clients trust and returning customers who know we’ll go the extra mile to meet their needs.

What is one piece of advice you would give to aspiring entrepreneurs?

“As an entrepreneur, remember that authenticity builds trust, and trust is the foundation of any business. Success isn’t just about growth; it’s about consistency, integrity, and making a lasting impact on your clients and community. Aim not just to build a business, but a brand that speaks for itself.”
