What made you want to become an entrepreneur?
My journey towards becoming an entrepreneur was driven by a deep passion for creating something meaningful and the desire to have a lasting impact on my community. I wanted the freedom to pursue my vision without limitations and to craft a path that aligned with my values and passions.
Entrepreneurship offered me the opportunity to innovate, to challenge myself, and to bring my ideas to life in a way that traditional roles couldn't. It was about taking ownership of my journey, contributing to the well-being of others, and making a difference in the world, especially in areas close to my heart, such as Indigenous culture, food, and education.
Why did you create your business?
I created my business because I saw an opportunity to make a positive impact and address needs that were being overlooked. It wasn't just about filling a gap in the market but about creating something that aligned with my passions and values.
I wanted to build a venture that could uplift others, particularly within my community, and contribute to meaningful change. My business is a reflection of my commitment to solving problems, empowering people, and making a difference in a way that resonates deeply with who I am and what I believe in.
What successes have you enjoyed so far with building your company?
The success I've enjoyed so far in building my business has been incredibly rewarding. One of my most significant achievements has been seeing the positive impact my work has had on my community, whether it's through empowering others, creating opportunities, or fostering a deeper connection to our shared values. I've also had the privilege of collaborating with like-minded individuals and organizations, which has amplified our reach and effectiveness.
Beyond the tangible milestones, the greatest success has been the sense of fulfillment I feel in knowing that my business is making a difference and staying true to the vision and values that inspired its creation.
What is one piece of advice you would give to aspiring entrepreneurs?

Like Chef David Wolfman, find the balance between preserving tradition and pushing boundaries, building your business on the values of community and respect.
