George Brown College is pleased to be hosting the Swedish Christmas Fair at our Waterfront Campus on November 23 and 24.
The fair attracts thousands of visitors who come to enjoy Swedish food, watch cultural performances, explore exhibits, and purchase Swedish products. The fair also acts as a fundraiser which goes towards yearly donations and a scholarship program for Ontario students who have been accepted to study at Swedish universities.
Members of the GBC community should be aware that set up for the festival will begin on November 18 at 51 Dockside Drive. There will be no major impacts on classes, but anyone based at Waterfront Campus will notice an increase in activity on campus.
Set up will take place in common spaces, including the main floor atrium, second floor mezzanine, and seventh floor café. Additional traffic will happen on Knapp Lane and Dockside Drive. We ask that you exercise caution and abide by event signage.
The fair is free and public to attend, we encourage you to check out everything they have to offer!
