An impressive lineup of in-person and virtual Global Entrepreneurship Week (November 15-24) events hosted by George Brown College’s entrepreneurship hub, startGBC, has something for everyone.

Students, alumni, employees and faculty are invited to attend more than 30 in-person and virtual events, including panel discussions, lunch labs, speed mentoring opportunities, workshops and fireside chats. Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) events cover many topics, including building accessible and sustainable businesses, e-commerce, content marketing, and more.

The announcement of the winners of the annual Pitch It GBC! competition on Friday, November 24, with our largest-ever prize fund of $15,000, will wrap up an incredible week of learning, networking and big ideas!

“Our Global Entrepreneurship Week events will be informative and inspirational, with many George Brown alumni entrepreneurs sharing their stories and expertise. Our grads will be featured on panels that spotlight women and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and people of colour) entrepreneurs and in other events,” said Neal Lilliot, Manager of startGBC. “On top of that, we have a very exciting lineup of experts participating from other organizations, including the City of Toronto’s Digital Main Street initiative. We’re also offering great opportunities for networking and speed mentoring.”
