George Brown has once again been named one of Greater Toronto's Top Employers for 2024. This marks the eighth straight year we’ve made the list!
The Greater Toronto’s Top Employers 2024 Report, published today in the Globe and Mail, celebrates employers with exceptional human resource programs and forward-thinking workplace policies. This year, George Brown was recognized for the following reasons:
- Hybrid work options for eligible roles.
- A sabbatical leave program for longstanding employees (after six years of service).
- Exceptional maternity and parental leave top-up payments.
Organizations are selected for the Top Employers list based on eight criteria including physical workplace; work atmosphere; health, financial, and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized for the eighth year in a row,” says Susan Bowrah, VP People and Culture at George Brown. “We’re constantly working on enriching the programs and benefits offered to employees at the college — and it’s wonderful to be formally recognized for our efforts.”
