Exciting developments are in store for Toronto’s waterfront, including George Brown College’s upcoming tall-wood, mass-timber building Limberlost Place. George Brown President Dr. Gervan Fearon recently participated in an online panel about the future of the waterfront that’s now available to watch.
Fearon joined Toronto’s Deputy Mayor Ana Bailao and Waterfront Toronto CEO George Zegarac to talk about the importance of expanded and accessible public transit, public housing solutions and creating equitable access to Toronto’s waterfront in a panel hosted by the Empire Club of Canada on February 23.
“We feel that the work we’re doing at the waterfront will really contribute to the skills base and attracting and retaining talent in Toronto,” Fearon said. “That makes it a vibrant place for investment, for retention of capital, and for economic growth and prosperity.”
