Jill Dunlop, Ontario’s Minister of Colleges and Universities, met with students and toured the Daphne Cockwell Centre for Health Sciences at Waterfront Campus on a busy first day of the fall semester.
The minister attended a roundtable session with three George Brown students representing different areas of study across the college.
Dunlop also met with George Brown President Dr. Gervan Fearon and with Fay Lim-Lambie, Dean of the Centre for Health Sciences and the Centre for Community Service and Early Childhood, and other George Brown employees during a walkthrough on campus.
The minister toured the WAVE (Wellness, Applied Research and Visionary Education) Clinics, the nursing Simulation Centre, the Health eHome and our dental lab.
Dunlop also saw the future home of The Arbour, the highly anticipated expansion to Waterfront Campus.
