We’re very proud to share that Fay Lim-Lambie, Dean of the Centre for Health Sciences and the Centre for Community Services & Early Childhood, has been named chair of the board of directors of Mackenzie Health.
Fay is a registered social worker with extensive leadership experience in the social services and health sectors. She joined George Brown College in June 2020 and has been a member of the Mackenzie Health Board of Directors since 2016. In 2019, she was elected as Mackenize Health’s second vice-chair and served as chair of the Clinical Quality, Safety and Risk Committee.
She was confirmed as chair of the board during Mackenzie Health’s annual general meeting on July 14.
“I am thrilled to take on this new role as chair of the Mackenzie Health Board of Directors and I’m excited to continue our work with this talented group of individuals who all exemplify what it means to be a public servant,” she said. “As we embark on this new chapter in our organization’s history, we look forward to working together to see the Mackenzie Health team through the pandemic and continue to make a difference in the lives of the residents in the communities we serve.”
Mackenzie Health is a regional health care provider in York Region that includes Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital and Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital.
