George Brown College School of Design is running a number of exciting in-person hands on learning workshops in the Makers Lab every Tuesday between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. between June 4 and August 6, 2024.  These free of cost workshops are open to any current George Brown College students.  Come and experience the impressive array of equipment the Makers Lab has and turn your hand to a new creative medium.  

Space is limited and you must register individually for each workshop to reserve a place.

Jun 18 - Die Cut Stickers - Import and process designs in Silhouette Studio and die cutting stickers on the Silhouette Cameo. - sold out

June 25 - Button Making - Assemble pinback buttons using and American Button Machines 1-inch round button maker. - Reserve your spot today

July 2 - 2D Plotting - The Roland GS-24 2D plotter’s capability to draw designs on paper and cut designs from vinyl will be demonstrated. - Reserve your spot today

July 9 - Laser Die Cutting - The Trotec Speedy 400 laser cutter and file set up will be demonstrated. - Reserve your spot today
