Biography

Yalda is a jewellery artist and an architectural designer who lives and works in Toronto. She obtained her Master of Architecture (M. Arch) from the Iran University of Science and Technology in Tehran in 2000 and gained global experience in Iran, Australia, and Victoria, British Colombia. Yalda followed her passion for jewellery design and fabrication by joining the George Brown College Jewellery Arts program; she graduated in 2023. Yalda has been an Artist-in-Residence at Harbourfront Centre in the metal/jewellery studio since 2023, wherein she has been working on her designs and developing her business.

With her cross-cultural and career experiences, Yalda brings a multidisciplinary perspective to her work, deepening her approach to designing and creating her pieces.
