Biography
Sam Lampropoulos teaches logistics/supply chain management, enterprise resource planning, supply chain strategy and technology, purchasing management and operations management, both at George Brown College and at Ryerson University. He has served as a guide for logistics on About.com, has been a guest speaker at the International Warehousing and Logistics Association and manages a logistics consulting practice. At George Brown College in 2012, in conjunction with industry partners including the Supply Chain Management Association, Sam initiated the first Supply Chain Student Case Competition, which has since become a Canada-wide competition open to all universities and colleges.
A professional engineer with 20 years of industry and consulting experience, Sam holds a BASc in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from York University. Sam has held management positions with Tibbett & Britten Group (now part of Exel Logistics), Loblaw Companies, The Gap and the Hudson’s Bay Company.
