Biography

Robin is a scholar-practitioner with deep expertise in organizational performance, learning and development, technology in business and entrepreneurial practices. He has an interdisciplinary academic background coupled with a global corporate experience spanning three decades. His double doctorate degrees, over 100k followers on all his social media channels combined, Artificial and Augmented Intelligence in Workplace research, and publications gained him a featured guest spot in CNN-Asia discussing about the linkage between corporate social responsibility and social media. He was a featured guest at CBC-Metro Morning in Toronto and Kitchener/Waterloo on the topic of Productive Mobile Employees and their Work-Life Balance.  And a regular contributor at CBC Evening news. 

Robin has been a professor at George Brown College since 2009 having started as an adjunct and onto a full time professorship. He has spoken on business and human resources topics at more than four dozen conferences in Europe, Asia and North America throughout his career. He received over $2M in research grants (SSHRC-NSERC, ESDC, eCampusOntario, and private funds) on the intersection of workplace performance, AI, Belongingness and Acculturation, and Human-Robot interactions.
