Biography
Ms. Little is a teacher, actor, and writer who specializes in movement-based work. She has taught at the Stratford Festival’s Birmingham Conservatory, the University of Waterloo, the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts, Sheridan College and acted as a movement coach on many professional productions. She has experienced a wide variety of movement modalities in her twenty years of performing and while pursuing her Masters at Central School of Speech and Drama.
Ms. Little draws on Laban Movement, Viewpoints, Grotowski-based River Work, Chekhov Technique and Movement and Sensory Awareness in her work. She embraces a somatic approach to teaching – guiding students toward discovering and inhabiting how they move in order to ground themselves in the work and ignite their imaginations. Ms. Little has written two plays and is currently devising a third entitled Flow. She is a member of CAEA, ACTRA, the Association of Theatre Movement Educators and the Theatre Ontario Talent Bank.
