Biography
Harold Ekstein is an organizational development practitioner who has over 35 years of experience in strategic capability alignment, which is a protocol to focus and expedite client decisions and actions about the alignment of authority and accountability for results and resources during major change. His expertise is based on his comprehensive and intensive knowledge of strategy, capability, operational business management processes and advanced consultation, facilitation and mediation skills.
Harold is the principal consultant of Harold Ekstein & Associates and has, since 2010, served as a part-time professor of Human Resources at George Brown College. His previous experience includes teaching organizational behaviour in York University’s Schulich part-time MBA program and Human Resources Management for Ryerson University’s CHRP program. He has served on the executive committee for the Toronto Organizational Development Network and Association for Independent Consultants. Harold has been a guest speaker about organizational development issues at the Institute for International Research, Canadian Bankers Association, Advantage Global Communications, Ontario Society for Training & Development, the Rotary Club and the Toronto Organizational Development Network, and he has been interviewed by The Globe & Mail and Report On Business TV.
