Biography
Faith Layard is an active Enamellist/Jeweller/Metalsmith specializing in Enamel with expertise in Cloisonné.
Faith is a passionate teacher of the Art of Enamelling. For 16 years now, she has been the sole instructor of Enamelling in the Jewellery Studies Program at George Brown College. Through progressive teaching, individualized learning and emphasis on one’s potential within the creative process, Faith Layard is committed to enabling her students with strong technical foundations in enamelling and developing an intrinsic appreciation for materials and matter at hand.
In creating, exhibiting and selling her Enamel works, it is Faith's goal to inspire students and viewers alike to see more deeply, and live more passionately.
