Biography
Evelyn has a robust background in instructional design with a background from Sheridan College and WSPS, where she collaborated with subject matter experts on projects such as Ontario Learn course updates, Occupational Health and Safety courses for the Canada Space Agency (CSA), secondary schools, and OCAD. She has also contributed to Quality Matters Peer Reviews and holds a master’s degree in digital media (MDM). Currently, as a Learning Technologies Specialist at George Brown College, Evelyn provides expert advice on educational technology, helping faculty and coordinators design online learning activities for web-enhanced, hybrid, and fully online courses. She manages the development of digital content and interactive learning objects using tools like HeyGen AI, Camtasia, Vyond, Articulate/Rise, and H5P. Additionally, she supports course design, online pedagogy, Quality Matters Standards, and Brightspace tools, while facilitating one-on-one training and workshops.
