Biography

Daniel Somsavath is an accomplished professional with a Master’s in Fashion Design Management from the prestigious University of Arts London, UK. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Diploma in Creative Fashion Design from George Brown College. With over 20 years of experience in the fashion retail industry, he brings a wealth of expertise and insight to his work.  In 2014, he became a valued faculty member at George Brown College's School of Fashion and Jewellery. He has actively mentored students and collaborated on innovative projects such as ultra-deep mining, high-visibility garments, touch-sensitive gaming apparel, and upcoming competitions/contests. He continues to teach Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop for Fashion, and other specialized programs, contributing to the development of shaping the next generation of fashion professionals.
