Biography

Christine enjoyed a 17-year career with Holt Renfrew, where she most recently served as Divisional Vice President of the company’s Accessories Divisions, which included Jewellery, Soft Accessories, Women’s Footwear and Handbags.  Christine’s success is mainly due to the depth of her relationships with luxury designers and her ability to curate a collection of highly appealing products that are marketable to Canada’s luxury consumers.

Christine also served as a Board Member at Town Shoes & The Shoe Company from 2012 to 2014.  Christine helped transition the family-owned business to a corporate structure managed by a Private Equity Firm.

In 2013, Christine launched The September, a Canadian e-commerce business retailing women’s designer shoes. The business enjoyed sustained year-over-year sales increases, a loyal customer base, an extraordinary amount of press coverage, a nomination by the Board of Trade for Entrepreneur of the Year, and, having established an exemplary service ethic, continued praise from customers. Christine is currently teaching part-time at George Brown in the Fashion Management Program.
