Biography
Brad Furminger has been teaching at George Brown College since 2012, following an extensive career in game design. With a focus on theory and practical applications of level design with post-graduate students, Brad also works with undergraduate programmers and artists in asset creation and game project development. He also leverages his experience to mentor students on their applied thesis projects.
Prior to joining the part-time faculty, Brad spent a decade with game studio Silicon Knights and an additional three years at Bedlam Games. He served as lead game designer on projects for a number of titles for the Nintendo GameCube, Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360. Brad continues to provide freelance consulting services on entertainment and educational game software.
