George Brown's Relationships With Other Post-Secondary Institutions
George Brown College offers many programs where you may be able to use credits earned at GBC towards further post-secondary credentials. In some cases credentials earned in a post secondary institution elsewhere may be recognized by George Brown College. Please choose from the list below the type of credit recognition you are seeking:
- Credit transfer agreements: Universities that recognize George Brown College credits towards their programs
- Dual Credits: assist secondary students in the completion of their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and to successfully transition to college and apprenticeship programs
- Articulated pathways: Enable graduates from certain GBC diploma programs to complete an applied bachelor's degree with approximately two calendar years of additional study
- Articulation agreements: There are a number of different types, i.e. Diploma-to-Diploma or Degree-completion. Degree-completion agreements are available in certain programs with various post-secondary institutions which provide that GBC graduates will be recognized for a given portion of an undergraduate program .
