You’ve applied to George Brown College and now you’re eagerly awaiting a response.
We know waiting is hard 😬, so we’ve outlined what happens next.
International students, learn about your application cycle on our Application Process for International Students page.
1. Acknowledgment
- You’ll receive an acknowledgement 5-10 days after applying.
- Find your student ID number and password on the top right corner of your acknowledgement letter/email. You’ll need them to log into George Brown’s student portal STU-VIEW.
2. Track your application
- Log into STU-VIEW to check your application status and to find out if your application is missing information (requirements or documents). Supply these materials by the stated deadline.
- Be sure to check in on your application regularly. We can’t make an admissions decision if information is missing.
3. Offer of admission
If you’ve received an Offer of Admission for George Brown — congratulations! 🎉 Follow the series of steps in the link below before the first day of classes.
4. Wait list
- If you’ve been added to a program wait list, our Admissions Office will notify you if your status changes.
- Due to the popularity of certain programs, we receive more applications than we can accept for this time and so applicants may be placed on a wait list. Confirmed students sometimes withdraw for various reasons, resulting in vacancies. We can’t predict the number or exact timing of these openings.
- If you’ve applied to other George Brown programs and haven’t been notified of your status, you can track your application in STU-VIEW. We’ll send you separate notifications about our decision for each program.
