Yes, if you are currently covered through another plan, you may apply to opt out from the Student Health and Dental Plan and would be eligible for a refund. To opt out, please visit the Student Association - Health Benefits Program webpage and apply to opt out prior to the posted deadlines on the Important Dates page.

 

Before opting out, we encourage students to visit the Student Association website for complete information on health benefits covered under our comprehensive plan. Students are responsible for reading the benefits booklet, available at wespeakstudent.com. Unless you successfully opt out by the posted deadline, please note that the Student Health and Dental Plan is mandatory, as passed in a school-wide referendum and conferred by the Student Association Board of Directors and the GBC Board of Governors.
