The steady stream of heavy news and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic challenge us in many ways and can take a toll on our mental health. Throughout our lifetime, not all of us will experience a mental illness, but all of us will face challenges with our mental health.
Bell Let's Talk Day is Wednesday, January 25. Every January, millions of Canadians participate in the campaign to raise awareness and reduce the stigma around mental health.
"It's important for everyone to feel comfortable talking about and seeking help with mental health challenges they're experiencing. The past few years have been challenging, and the strength and support our college community provides has never been more important," said Jun Manaran, George Brown's Senior Manager of Counselling and Student Well-Being. "I encourage everyone to learn about resources available to you here at George Brown and in the greater community."
