Convocation / Graduation
A graduate's official graduation date is the end date of the last semester for their program. The graduation date appears on official transcripts and the actual awarded degree, diploma, or certificate.
Convocation is the formal ceremony celebrating graduation. It is an annual ceremony, usually held mid-June, at which graduates from the previous twelve months may attend to have their credentials conferred on them by the College Chancellor and College President.
Details regarding the upcoming Convocation are posted on the George Brown College website mid-March. To view details such as ceremony dates and times, reserving tickets, and guests please see the Convocation Ceremonies webpage.
