What is the fee structure for students registered with Accessible Learning Services?

Students registered with the Accessible Learning Services who have a permanent disability are eligible to take a reduced course load and receive modified tuition fees. George Brown recognizes that students registered with Accessible Learning Services may need to extend their program over a longer period, and should not be financially penalized for this accommodation.

Modified Tuition Fees:

Once you have paid full-time tuition fees for your entire program, you may receive modified tuition fees. The modified tuition fee is $20.00 per course plus ancillary fees.

For example, if your program is 4 semesters (and you have paid the full-time tuition fee for 4 semesters with no failing grades), however you need an extra semester to complete the program, then the modified fees will be applied to the extra semester required.

If your course load is too much to handle, you may drop to a reduced course load and take the dropped course(s) in a following semester. We advise you to contact both your Academic Department and Accessible Learning Consultant before dropping/adding courses.
